Cyanogenmod 11.0 (Android KitKat 4.4.2) auf Samsung Galaxy S3 installieren + Update vom TWRP 2.6.3 auf 2.6.3.1

Hier ein kleines How-To um Cyanogenmod 11.0 Nightlies auf dem Samsung Galaxy S3 (i9300) zu installieren.

Ich gehe davon aus das euer Gerät bereits gerooted ist.

Wir benötigen:

• neuestes TWRP Recovery (aktuell 2.6.3.1, benötigt um CM 11 zu flashen)

• neueste Cyanogenmod Nightly (aktuell die vom 14.12.2013)

Download

• Google Apps für Android KitKat

Download

• Android Terminal Emulator

Download (PlayStore Link)

• das Recovery Image entpacken (sollte ein .tar File sein) und auf das Handy laden (z.B. mit Airdroid)
• Android Terminal Emulator öffnen und folgendes eintippen:

su

dd if=/the/path/to/your/recover.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6

ACHTUNG: wenn dieser Befehl falsch geschrieben wird kann es zu einem Brick des Telefons kommen!!!!

• jetzt in das Recovery booten
• das Cyanogenmod 11 zip-File + das Google Apps File installieren
• Dalvik Cache wipen (wenn ihr von einem anderen Rom als CM kommt dann wird noch ein Data Wipe empfohlen)
• Reboot

jetzt sollte das Cyanogenmod 11.0 Rom starten und laufen.

flashen funktioniert mit fastboot folgendermassen:

Update: Cyanogenmod 9 Nightly - 2 Wochen...

Bisher läuft alles super, nach wie vor, leider funktioniert die Android interne VPN Verbindung nicht. Abhilfe schafft hier das VPNC Widget.
Also: bis auf VPN, nach wie vor alles sehr smooth. :)

UPDATE:
Neuestes Nightly  (04.04.2012) und immer noch alles sehr sauber.
